Joined Indian Army after doing law in 1970. Superannuated in end of 2008, after heading the judicial wing of Army in all commands for 13 years. After retirement he has been practicing law in Supreme Court. The Armed Forces Tribunal was conceived and drafted by him. He was awarded many decorations from Army Chief and Army commanders and Vishisht Sewa Medal by Hon'ble President of India.
He was awarded “Sewa- Ratna” in Govt Jubilee Inter College, Lucknow and enrolled in “Honour list” in 1974. He got several medals and prizes in St John Ambulance state level competitions and Athletics.
He is committed to serve the Nation and People of India. He has the ability for reforming and boosting the economy by simplifying the procedures, rules and regulations with better compliances.
